Just nu sänds ett mycket intressant radioprogram på BBC4. De frågar sig om det blivit säkrare i EU och Storbritannien efter hästskandalen för något år sedan.
De upptäcker såväl fisk som kött som bytts ut mot billigare varianter, och hästkött som innehåller giftiga ämnen. Bedrägerierna är nästan omöjligt att upptäcka och straffen små.

Prof Chris Elliott, who was commissioned by the government to investigate the UK’s most serious food scandal in recent years, says criminals are committing more food fraud because there’s little risk of detection or serious penalties if they’re caught.
